The End of Java-TV Wiki - W. Knight - 12-06-2021

Java-TV Wiki, the archive for the past TV mocks from websites like APFS etc, closed down after the end of the Wikifoundry service on early June. Now clicking into one of the Java TV links on Google will lead you to a general thank you page of the service.

For me personally, I had great pleasure looking at the old creations there, when I'm creating my own mocks to kill time. It's a shame that the website didn't took off, after high discussion in the blue place, and then got infiltrated with new, but bad, mocks.

(I know the last person who talks about APFS stuff got banned, so I'll stop here as an open discussion Smile )

I thought this was sad since we need a website to show off the great mocks of the past, and the end of Java TV would have frustrated that effort.

I won't say anymore since I sense Rob wants us to let APFS in peace (apologizes if I'm mistaken), however I'm leaving this here: https://apfs.fandom.com/f

That's a shame. I had some mocks on there but had a bit of difficulty sometimes uploading them.

Look on the bright side, it gives you time to work on them more thoroughly, instead of forcing them out to a platform.

I have some 'mocks' that are a few years old on my graphics software, and... let's just say I'm glad I didn't post them on the Blue place, Java, Deviantart or somewhere else Wink
