Perhaps it’s not one solid colour but (hushed tones) gradients - mainly red, but also the neighbouring colours of the spectrum, as the BBC TWO image has hints of blues.

Also I kinda like the more darkened red for BBC One.
It gives it a more grown up and "flagship" kind of feeling.
Also have we got anything about Four? I reckoned they've ditched the black and gone for something different as they'll be an archive channel soon.

Someone said something about BBC Four likely changing their colour due to becoming an archive channel the other day too. I don’t get it – since when is the colour black incompatible with an archive? It actually feels pretty suitable to me. Bizarre.
