RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - AxiosBrit67 - 18-07-2022 I clarify this post. In youtube, the ITV debate was broadcasted fully 16:9, however ITV broadcast of TV half of them transmitted in 4:3. Surprised to see that post. https://twitter.com/thetvmuseum/status/1548769965985210368 RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - Transmission - 18-07-2022 (18-07-2022, 02:30 AM)AxiosBrit67 Wrote: I clarify this post. RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - Scarbados - 18-07-2022 Both Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss have pulled out of tomorrow night's debate on Sky News Newshound47 - Newshound47 - 18-07-2022 (18-07-2022, 10:40 AM)Scarbados Wrote: Both Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss have pulled out of tomorrow night's debate on Sky NewsThat likely means it’s cancelled because they will only be three candidates left tomorrow and the bookies odds are that Sunak and Truss will be two of those. RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - TMD_24 - 18-07-2022 Sky have confirmed they have cancelled the debate. They went from being able to boast that they were hosting the FIRST leadership debate, to suddenly being the second one, and then the third, and now to being unable to do it at all. Bless them! RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - aaron_scotland - 18-07-2022 Hopefully they didn't spend too much money on a set etc. RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - AJB39 - 18-07-2022 Maybe they’ll get to host a debate when the contest is down to the final two. RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - Brekkie - 18-07-2022 I guess the relative low lowership of Sky News and the fact it's the Tory MPs they need to woo at this stage means they feel it's better trying to do so personally rather than through the media - although three to two is arguably where it gets interesting as based on the previous rounds it seems obvious how 5th and 4th place will play out. I'd imagine Sky will hope to reschedule for when it's down to two, plus presumably the hustings events planned for the summer will be news channel fodder too. According to Sky, Sunak's team are keen to do a further debate if they are in the final two, but Truss' team are not willing to do any further debates. Interesting to see how it pans out as we go into the membership vote. RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - Brekkie - 18-07-2022 It's official - the Tory Leadership debate is as popular as Love Island. https://twitter.com/LiamHamilton16/status/1548971768601366530 RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - JamesWorldNews - 18-07-2022 They’re scared of Kay? https://twitter.com/tomhfh/status/1548970822580293632?s=21 RE: Tory Leadership Race - News Coverage - Clouseau - 18-07-2022 (18-07-2022, 11:41 AM)valley Wrote:(18-07-2022, 11:12 AM)aaron_scotland Wrote: Hopefully they didn't spend too much money on a set etc. So who was due to be the host for Sky? |
