2: Are they seriously having so much trouble finding stuff to report, that they're putting together a fantasy cabinet?
3: Some documentary production company should probably save that video for if/when they need to put together a show about the channel's demise.

Well, no. But that's because I did not see that at the time. Having just seen it, I do agree that it is also frivolous. However, I do not see why if I am critical of one piece of output on a channel, I should have to go about giving my opinion on when it has happened on other channels.

Is there a time and place for this sort of content? Yes, there is. However, I do not believe that sort of content is warranted during a morning programme on "Britain's News Channel". Also, the fact that you're resorting to whataboutism suggests that you can't find a proper reason to justify this sort of content either.

I’m no GB News fan by a long stretch, but this is a silly comment. From what I’ve seen online, they get the exact some guests who frequently rotate GMB/Jeremy Vine/TalkRadio etc.

GB News reminds me of RT UK which recently axed their UK bulletins to take the international feed from Moscow instead as they were also perceived as being different from the norm, but bar the die hard, it didn't make any headway into the British psyche.

Actually, I think it's the opposite, British viewers aren't stuck in their old ways at all, they're just going elsewhere for their news. TV News stations aren't on the way out, but starting a new one in a 1999 type of way is never going to succeed.

These days people seem to get their main news from the sources you mentioned above, and then top up with clips on YouTube or Twitter. No one has the time or patience to sit down and watch hours of some of the dullest TV ever produced in the UK.

There is one person, like him or hate him, that has a real audience/following on the station, but that's personal. It's nothing to do with GB News at all. If Farage leaves, most of his audience will follow.

With the exception of Farage, they seem to have a ridiculously small audience for both broadcast and online, when you consider how many platforms they're on. A testcard channel with music would get more viewers and probably more advertising revenue.
