Literally came here to find the latest on Neil. What a crazy situation -- an expected date for his return, but also scepticism within the company that he'll do so.

Neil staying silent seems odd. If he is coming back, why not say so?

I don’t know if this has already been mentioned but what will happen to Colin when Andrew returns.

Laughed out loud at this:

Quote: The changes have led to some anxiety internally about the station leaning too heavily into culture war debates. Stewart argues that the station remains true to its original aspirations (Neil said at its launch that GB News would “puncture the pomposity” of the elite’s embrace of cancel culture) and that there is “no journalistic agenda”.

Looks like there is a new Sports show that is being added to the schedule from next Saturday and Sunday called GB Sports. It's airing at 9am-10am.

There's also a new business show called On The Money that is starting on the 6th September which is half an hour in length at 1pm. Before that will be The Lunchtime Briefing which appears to be an hour long at 12pm compared to The Briefing AM and The Briefing PM which are half an hour meaning that DePiero & Halligan will only be two hours from 1:30pm-3:30pm from the 6th September.

Gloria De Piero is down to present the lunchtime Briefing and suspect as Liam Halligan is business editor he will present the new show.

Can somebody at GBN tell Tonia Buxton to film her cookery segments on Saturday mornings in landscape. It really isn't that hard!

In an utterly farcical development, a poll commissioned by GB News - and conducted by a firm not on the British Polling Council - has found more people think the BBC is biased in its news coverage than GB News:

Yes - it's got a very extensive catch-up service.

I think Charles-Henri Gallois got his time wrong for his guest slot on Alex Phillips' show tomorrow as her show ends at 6pm UK time.

We are currently on BST anyway which is one hour ahead of GMT, so perhaps he is on at 6pm French winter time ? plus the date says September

GB News - Rory N - 29-08-2021

Maybe with all the new programs due to start on September the 6th we could see the relaunch then (that is if there is going to be one)

Thought I add to this as I see Rhiannon Jones is down to present this. She's one of the presenters of CNN World Sport.
