So I'd read that as they had a bigger peak figure during the evening schedule on those dates.

I don’t think people here understand the point of those social media graphics on the previous page. They’re not meant to stand up to scrutiny. Of course they’re easily challenged or even ‘wrong’. It doesn’t matter.
They’re designed to create a buzz, create an image of strength and of an underdog, and reinforce the image of being a ‘disrupter’ in the media space.
What you or I say in response on a forum like this is neither here nor there.

Commercial radio groups always pick the most favourable metric (reach, audience share, listening hours) when trumpeting their latest audience figures.
I think in the commercial sector audience share is seen as the most important measure for advertisers. The BBC tends to focus more on reach.
Ratings comparisons with BBC News and Sky News are largely irrelevant - in both journalism and production values GB News is nowhere close.
It is also has to be said it feels like GB News has been on air a lot longer than 10 weeks.

Not to say that it's just GBN that selectively used audience figures. Radio stations regularly quote either quarter on quarter or year on year depending on what's better sounding. And then there's the use of growth of audience instead of actual audience - Talk Radio use that a lot.

Of course any ratings of levels of social media engagement also include those who watched for the bad bits too. I wonder how many watching the first week or two were doing so because of how bad it was rather than because they were actively interested?

Have you noticed GB News anchors are using the term "sleepy Joe Biden" quite a bit - utterly disgraceful to portray the 46th President of the United States with that term. I am shocked at the current pundit speaking, whilst wearing a horrible shirt, who actually said Biden needs to be "taken out" and then suddenly realised what he said, with Mark trying to get him to clarify his remark.
