Ya programmes change on over channels all the time to these nothing special that's what I'm getting at nothing massively has changed for it to be new it's still the same channel BBC Three - Rexogamer - 29-01-2022 BBCMeridian post_id=65790 time= user_id=2083 Wrote:...for the last 5 years it has been exclusively a brand (I guess latterly a strand on One but even so)? BBC Three - JetixFann450 - 30-01-2022 Is this the first time the BBC have promoted something of theirs on UKTV? Given that BBC, under BBC Studios, their commercial brand, now owns UKTV? BBC Three - cityprod - 30-01-2022 So I just noticed that the two Africa Cup Of Nations semi finals are scheduled for 1830 on BBC Three on Wednesday and Thursday. Does that mean that CBBC will be closing earlier those days or does BBC Three start earlier than it used to? BBC Three - bkman1990 - 31-01-2022 The iPlayer logo on the bottom of the website is still the old one. When will be changed to the newer logo? Will that job be done on launch night from Tuesday? Probably in about January 2028, or something. (Which might be just after the Licence Fee has ended, if we are to believe what we've been hearing recently). After all, this is the same Beeb that still regularly has e.g. old One/Two/Scotland (etc) logos appear within BBC Sports graphics. They couldn't organise branding consistency even if their lives depended on it. BBC Three - Robert Williams - 31-01-2022 Thing is, despite all the cutbacks, the BBC website is still vast, and it must be a huge job to change every single logo on every single page. That said, it's a pity that more than three months after the rebrand, BBC Three is still the only channel to have had its schedule and programme pages updated with the new logo and branding. That's nothing, however, compared to https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules and on the titles of the schedule pages themselves, where you will find that several BBC Local Radio stations that amended their names two years ago, still have not been updated to the new names. Interesting to see that BBC Three looks to be retaining its own bespoke website at all - it was only set up when the channel went online in 2016, and none of the other non-children's channels have had them for a long time.
