I'm not really sure 'call each other out' is necessarily what you want from a news organisation's team of correspondents, is it?
Whilst I take the point that this veers (quite dramatically) into commentary I would argue that there's a reason it is the only broadcast news outlet that does this... it's not really reporting (nb. not commentating) on news - where the opinion of those involved is the key - rather we've got, essentially, a talk show in which we're led to believe this the national debate.

Alternative view: it very publicly reinforces the impression there’s a tug-of-war going on between the regional reporters who signed up for GBN believing they were going to be given full-throated support to tell stories from their communities, and the London presenters who have a clear agenda to push.
It also just looks highly unprofessional - and while you might think the tweets of BBC or Sky journalists are anodyne, at least they don’t undermine the reputation of their respective employers by going at it like rats in a sack.

Not in a traditional sense no, but it does seem to be an ongoing relaunch that will be largely complete in September when Neil returns.
I’m assuming the regular news bulletins are the next part of the relaunch to be added.

Did they have a problem with everyone advertising on LBC while he worked there? Are they going to go after everyone else advertising on the channel?
Also, this does not state that they're not going to advertise with GBN in the future. They're taking credit for pressurising Sainsbury's into pulling all ads on a channel when what probably actually happened was the ads were due to end today anyway and all they achieved was a tweet saying they had.

Well, from any business's perspective, advertising is designed to bring customers in the door. If advertising has the reverse effect -- that customers choose to stay away -- then I don't know why you'd expect a business to persist with it.
From GB News' perspective -- and like any commercial broadcaster -- they need to find a commercially viable model. Most directly, that's securing an audience. But it's also about securing revenue, including through advertising. It's their job -- not the British public's -- to make a success of it.

I believe their campaign was sparked by Farage’s comments condemning the RNLI for rescuing migrants in the Channel, and felt these were at odds in particular with Sainsbury’s previously stated corporate values.

As always, Twitter is not representative of the general population. 99+% of people won't know this 'campaign' even exists - I certainly didn't until today - and wouldn't think twice about nipping into their local Sainsbury's whether they advertise on this channel (which barely anyone watches or really knows anything about) or not.
Ultimately, the only people who should have any say as to where Sainsbury's advertise, are Sainsbury's themselves - it's not up to a comparatively tiny group of people on Twitter to try and force their hand because they don't agree with the opinions of a presenter of a news channel the company runs adverts on.
For opponents of the channel, it should be noted that this sort of thing only plays into GB News' hands. I can hear the frenzied typing of channel staff now, penning incensed opening monologues to programmes about how 'the woke crowd' are trying to 'cancel' them again. :?
