STV - Brekkie - 30-10-2021

Though, STV's brand could end up surviving anyway, as ITV nowadays has independently branded labels (Potato, Multistory Media, Lifted) rather than just ITV Studios, and so keeping the STV name for their existing programmes for other channels would make sense (like how Granada was still used for a while after ITV Productions was created).
Considering ITV don't like using the legacy brands they'd probably rename the production side something like Haggis.

STV - Gusan - 30-10-2021

At 22:00, the announcer on STV gave a welcome to people who are in the country for COP26

Obviously a charity show is a great cause and I hope they raise money, but it's very heavy on films about the charities and corporate sponsors. They did a Celebrity Catchphrase with Jordan North, but it was just one go at a Super Catchphrase.

A slickly produced programme, just a bit worthy and boring I'm afraid. Some of the pres is quite nice however:

They could at least have made the audience wear masks to cover up how bored they looked. The brown sofas seem to be a metaphor for how the show went according to your description.

West Linton is shielded from both Craigkelly and Selkirk by nearby hills. Because of this, I'm sure that its relay is line-fed from the Pencuik relay.

STV - London Lite - 02-11-2021

STV have swapped Tonight (a Laura Tobin fronted COP26 doc) and Scotland Tonight with the latter at 8pm on Tuesday.

It's off air fed from Pencuik, you can see the VP Trough Rx half way up the mast

I think even if ITV did take over, STV would be kept in name with a Nicole show on Friday night at 23:35 to keep her happy.

What on earth is a "Nicole show"?

SNP leader, You know she will moan if ITV in Scotland don't have a show about her.

I had no idea that Ms Scherzinger, the former Pussycat Doll, was the SNP leader.

1. This isn't a political forum
2. Her names not Nicole

Very annoying DOG now in use on STV:

The text has no transparency and the DOG stays on-screen throughout programmes.

STV - Brekkie - 18-11-2021

I really wish OFCOM would put a stop to that kind of thing. I've no issue with them appearing for 15-20 seconds upon the return from a break but they should not be permitted to air continuously.

It's the same on ITV, though I think they only have it up for a few seconds.
