Though I reckon if it were more of a major/well known character, they would have had a build up to it, which to me, seems counter-intuitive. Coronation Street - James2001 - 20-12-2021 Is Debbie's hotel now the only place people have weddings or any other functions? Just like Craig is clearly the only policeman. Coronation Street - Colm - 21-12-2021 Makes a change from the Bistro, though. Coronation Street - Hybrid - 22-12-2021 I'm amazed how they were allowed to use 'sl*ttly' twice at 8:30pm. Just dramatic license, I presume . . . I doubt anyone minds

Doesn't strike me as something you'd really struggle to get away with pre-watershed, particularly on an adult focussed show not long before the watershed. I've heard worse on pre-watershed TV plenty of times. Coronation Street - HarryB - 23-12-2021 https://twitter.com/i_am_kenbarlow/status/1473760095968403462?s=21 How did this manage to air?! I just spotted it watching last nights show Coronation Street - IanJRedman - 23-12-2021 HarryB post_id=59944 time= user_id=1395 Wrote:https://twitter.com/i_am_kenbarlow/status/1473760095968403462?s=21 That's amusing - but it's incredibly easy for things like this to happen. I personally know a short film director who once left a massive light fully visible in the background, because she simply didn't notice. Coronation Street - James2001 - 23-12-2021 And by the time they do notice it's too late to go back and refilm it. I presume there is a way of blurring it out in post production if it was considered important enough? Technically yes, but might that have been more distracting than the original gaffe? They could definitely just cover it up with black to match the rest of the lanyard so the logo disappears. But either no-one realised or they just decided it wasn’t worth the bother as ‘Joe Public never clocks a damn thing’.
Coronation Street - Jez_CymruWales - 25-12-2021 Loved tonight's Christmas episode. Very feel good how Christmas episodes should be. No deaths, explosions, armed sieges, murders etc. Nice to see Ken, Audrey and Gail all involved a lot tonight and Roy and Evelyn have both returned. Coronation Street - JAS84 - 25-12-2021 Unlike Emmerdale... Coronation Street - DavidWhitfield - 25-12-2021 Couldn't agree more Jez_CymruWales - Audrey stumbling out of that fridge out of nowhere while David was doing all the cooking single-handedly (on his birthday!) had me howling. Sue Nicholls undoubtedly the star of the show for me tonight. "Right, pudding's nearly ready - how's everything in here?" "Well, Carla and Peter have just run for it, Harry wanted to go and play with his big brother, the turkey was like cardboard, and Ken's got his bells out, so... anybody for Christmas pudding?" Fantastic, and exactly the fun and uplifting sort of thing I needed from Coronation Street tonight. |
