So that's Conchúr Dowds and Hanisha Sethi out in less than two months. If they're gradually reducing the regional news segments, it looks like Bradley Harris, Ellie Costello and Paul Hawkins may be offered presenting roles as they've all covered shows in the last couple of weeks.

he did not come across as a good reporter, the regional north east and midlands reporters were much more enthusiastic and found loads of local stories, but Irish one was too formal BBC type style.

Cant see bradley moving to london, his husband would not like that (my brother lives next to them), Hawkins has been nearly 90% studio based and done very little london reporting.

Is the lighting normally as bad as it is in the 2nd and 5th photos? Looks incredibly dark and as if they haven't put enough money in the meter.

Maybe because he was the only one who got his framing right and actually did some proper reporting from NI made him bad?

Simon McCoy does/did for his Good News segment and I'm pretty sure I've seen Liam using the clicker too.
Have a look at the breakfast show - then you'll really notice it! Only one of the presenters has one and they don't hide it.
