The links are small but the problem is that over recent years right-wing politics (of which GBNews is a part) on both sides of the Atlantic (and the wider economy of London) have been so entangled with Russian interests and money that there are connections everywhere.
Its a big problem now that Putin has done what he's done. For example you only have to look at Farage on Twitter yesterday to see what a quandry he's in... the Lord Haw Haw comparisons were already being made

I wasn’t aware of these links. While they are not good. If they appear to be very small links, one could also say similar links exist between the main political parties and media outlets as it’s been proven money has been taken in from questionable sources. My point being is there any media outlet that is 100% clean? I think even the guardian had some kind of dodgy link a while back.
I guess the BBC could be due to it’s funding model.

Lebedev, now Lord Lebedev, is the main Russian backer of the media - The Independent, Evening Standard and that bastion of Russian propaganda - London Live.

I would love to know how GB News's viewing figures have fared since the invasion of Ukraine. I would have the channel on for 10-20 minutes every day (generally no more because I'm not a massive fan of the format but quite like Dolan and Wootton (never thought I'd say that)). However, since the invasion, I've had Sky, BBC News, and Al Jaz on most of the time.

Wrong camera angles, no sound on the news with Polly, back to Headliners to a 2nd attempt at the news to get what sounded like a live feed into the gallery with loads of static noise “what the hell is that” also being heard by a really panicked producer.

Mark Steyn’s show is interesting at the moment, he is actually quite entertaining to watch. But he constantly talks about how useless the western leaders are at the moment whilst not offering any alternative suggestions, with criticism of Russia very much at the back of the agenda. I’ve also noticed unlike Farage who at least has people he disagrees with him on, Steyn only seems to have people on he broadly agrees with.
