Went back on iPlayer to grab this, it looks really nice. Only 'criticism' I have is the resizing of the text doesn't seem very smooth, but other than that it looks superb.
Wouldn’t it have looked better if it was all was centre aligned ? Just like the 1997 rebrand.

I am going to say it: I really like it. All of it that's new, anyway. I can't wait to see the next phase, which I would assume will begin around Christmas/January time, a la 2016/2017's events. Hopefully new idents for BBC One, but we will wait and see. If rumours are to be believed, the refit of Studio B will be completed sometime around February/March, with the rumoured refresh of BBC News' graphics. I think by then, at least, the changes will have built up to a point where it looks a little less disjointed.

It will be interesting to see how new any new BBC One Idents will fit the new layout structure. The 2006-2017 circles look was nice, and seeing them incorporate a circular theme again could be pretty nice. I think new BBC logo looks alright, it seems more like an evolution of the old one versus being a radical change like the 1997 was from the previous one. I don't like the whole BBC on top and name of channel on the bottom, the idea looks nice to just have the logo as BBC One together than it spaced apart. I like they kept BBC One red, just for the continuity of thinking red think BBC One.
It was also probably for the best they didn't try to wholesale change every element in one day, just in case something went wrong, it wouldn't be a total mess, and it gives them a chance to make sure they like stuff and tweak it then move on the next thing they need to do. Will be interesting to see where it goes over the next months.

BBC Scotland has proven that the split logo works best when there is a symbol between it. So if the BBC One circular motif is laid over the ident (like it does at the start of the trails) it might be effective.

This is lovely. Though I can't help but think a bit of subtle background music would lift this and complement the energy of the animations? Similar to some of the plinky plonky soundtracks on Channel 4's menus perhaps?

Centre alignment tends to be discouraged these days, it's less easy to read for people with dyslexia.

Watching the 9pm junction in guessing the red circles will fit in better when the new BBC One idents eventually launch. Overall I thought the transitions between trailers were good.

It all looks very nice, slick, modern and fresh, which is what BBC was going for. I understand the frustration of not having everything happen in one day but going into all the details of aligning and where someone thinks something should be positioned on screen, is a bit too much. The creators wanted it the way it looks and that's it. It is their work and their choice, no point in complaining about it now, especially since you were not part of the creating process.
Looking forward to more changes over the next few months, hopefully new BBC1 idents will be up the the standard, especially after the unfortunate delay. The revamp of BBC News should be the climax of it all and surely something we're all most excited for.

Don't like this update at all!
Why not just put also available on iPlayer On final screen the adverts for shows!
The sudden screen shot from the advert for time and day on BBC channel then sudden black screen pink iplayer thing is bad just too many screen shots not needed!
Just advertising shows with also available on iplayer tag in the corner be enough!
The graphics actually in the idents looks bad.
Channel number too small. Only looks ok on BBC 2 as BBC 2 still carries simple idents with number focus . Other BBC channels don't work with this logo.
If your focused on ident playing out why have distraction logo on top and bottom of screen. Adds clutter
The circle idents with BBC center looked better!

I decided to watch BBC1's evening output to see the new look working properly before I posted a more comprehensive viewpoint. i knew that most on this and other forum's would moan about it because whilst everyone wants change, no one ever likes the change that we are given. Why? Because we build up an ideal in our minds and end up disappointed when that ideal doesn't materialise.
My only gripe is the lack of consistent rebranding on logos that have officially been rebranded. I'm not too bothered about News or CBBC or CBeebies, but The One Show and iPlayer being inconsistent is a bit odd. Perhaps it's an oversight and will get worked out over the coming days, but it should have been thought about before today.
That little moan asides, I think the rest of it looks great. I like how fresh and vibrant it all looks like now, even the rebranded Oneness idents, but you can sense that it (Oneness rebranded) is a temporary look. I like the little bubble effect and I like the "blips". All in all, it has potential, a little tweak here and there, and it'll be spot on. I actually like the O N E logo. I don't understand the "it's too small" comments.

One thing which I'm liking far more than I thought I would is that little animation with the boxes at the start of the idents, and as part of the stings, trailers etc. It's actually quite subtle but it really works IMO.
