Only took BBC2 NI 20 minutes to tell viewers what they were doing with the deferred coverage of the GAA Championship scheduled for 8pm ,now after the Tennis .

Doesn't seem to be any continuity from BBC Sport, presumably because of the difference in Northern Ireland. But Network aren't putting anything out about their displaced programmes either.

Today at Wimbledon will be on BBC Two at 0:05.
No doubt they have already pre-recorded most of it and just need Clare Balding to do the closing links.

BBC Two NI now showing their GAA Championship coverage.
Today at Wimbledon was originally not scheduled in Northern Ireland so it will be interesting to see if they then timeshift the ODI Cricket highlights or go straight into Today at Wimbledon.
BBC Two Wales have got Scrum V (the EPG has been updated for HD but not SD) in instead of QI, which elsewhere is the episode that was scheduled for 21:00.

No doubt there would be comments from tennis fans had they cut off the live coverage. Not sure they had any other option than to delay the GAA since it wasn't live anyway. Can't please everyone.
Other options that could have been considered were:
Moving the tennis over to BBC Four at 22:30 and doing Today at Wimbledon there live.
Debuting Today a Wimbledon at 23:00 on the Red Button instead of the Golf highlights which were scheduled for 65 minutes later on BBC Two anyway.
Imagine there were several others but couldn't settle on one until the match ended.
I can only assume they had already pre-recorded most of Today at Wimbledon so that guests were easier to get, and so just needed Clare Balding to record a couple more links and do a quick edit of the men's doubles final to insert into the programme, for a couple of people to stay behind and play out live after everyone else had gone home.

To be fair the GAA game concerned - Tyrone v Cavan - aired simultaneously live across the U.K. & Ireland at 3:30pm on Sky Sports Arena, and won’t get FTA coverage on an ROI channel (Cavan being an ROI based team) until The Sunday Game at 9:30pm tomorrow (notwithstanding that most ROI viewers can view the BBC NI coverage ).

I was wondering there the Wimbledon court feeds were, looks like it was in ns3 modulation for the courts, two outer court feeds in regular dvb-s2, interview room and the world feed.
With each passing year gets harder and harder to watch this stuff with domesticated equipment.

Problem for the BBC is that once upon a time BBC NI wouldn't even read out the results of GAA matches and there is a feeling by some that the same attitude still exists
Some will be thinking why did it take until 820pn to announce what was happening to the GAA when the Tennis only started at 730pm approx and there was no way it would finish by 8pm

Whether there is a spot of time travel at the end where a voiceover from Clare announces the winners of the men’s and ladies doubles, despite one of them still in progress on the big screen behind Clare, remains to be seen
