Actually no. The complete opposite is the case, DAB+ signals are actually more robust than 'vanilla' DAB ones. Therefore (everything else being equal) a DAB+ signal will hang together for longer. Also you don't get the 'bubbling mud' effect that plagues low signal DAB, it's a far smoother decay
What might be confusing you is DAB+ is only available on non BBC muxes. The BBC DAB mux has significantly better coverage than the other two national muxes, so it might appear that DAB+ is poorer. It's not per se.

As I expected, the radio version sounds a lot like when US radio stations simulcast local TV coverage during extreme weather.
The quality of the DAB+ feed itself seems decent enough - it's just the acoustics. The acoustics of a large TV studio are quite different from a smaller radio studio with acoustic paneling - although my background is in radio, so I probably notice this much more than the average listener.

Regardless of the political rhetoric GB News puts out, it is still an Ofcom regulated channel and apologies will be made for curse words, however tame the word is.

Although I never worked in news when I worked in community radio, we had training on such issues before we were allowed on-air.
Muroki (and others) should have had this basic training before she was even allowed to pilot a show in the first place.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's trialled as a contributor first before he's offered a presenting gig.
