I'm not totally sure who the presenters are, I presume the Esther is going to be Esther Krakue but not sure who the 'Phil' in question is the other presenter?

I think it could either be Esther McVey and Philip Davies or Esther Krakue and Phil Campion. My bet is on the former since Esther McVey is already on GB News as a presenter.
i bet it is Davies. Just as Eamonn and Ruth stop appearing on TV together, GB News gives us a new husband and wife team!

Darren Grimes' show and People's Question Time appears to be not listed on the GBN website. Let me know if they do elsewhere.

Anyway, here's the feed of the new breakfast show. Feedback encouraged starting 6am.

Yeah they aren't there yet nor is Calvin's new show. I presume Darren and Calvin is fitting in somewhere in the Saturday slot where there is repeats between Alistair Stewart and Nana scheduled and will become live slots.

I have just ready that Colin Brazier has been moved to the 4pm time slot. Why has this happened?

He's hosting a new show from 4-6pm which will coincide with the normal 'drivetime' slot (due to the launch of GB News Radio tomorrow).

Thank you - the never ending schedule changes at GB News is off putting. Shame they can never settle down a schedule.

Well that’s a silly thing to say. It was always expected that they’d be swapping stuff around after a few months until they finally find a schedule that works.

I've listened to the DAB+ feed this morning for a couple of hours, and whilst the audio quality is adequate, one thing that glaringly stands out is that programmes developed for television really do not translate well into radio!

There is also no adverts, just GB News promos, which are also really very poor.

I'm not quite sure where they are going with the radio feed, but for "breakfast" this morning, it simply didn't work on the radio.

I disagree - I think it worked quite well. I certainly didn't have any issues with listening to it, it sounded fairly like a radio show (you could tell that it was a TV show when the guests were speaking sometimes, but that can be ironed out).

So the opposite of TalkRadio TV, which has promos when the radio has ads!

The radio stream is dying for split sweepers explaining what each show is and who is presenting it. If it wasn't for the presenter just now saying "It's the Briefing", you wouldn't know who's on.

A simple issue when simulcasting a tv show on radio which could be easily resolved.

For an example of how this sort of thing can work, it's worth looking over at New Zealand.

some would argue the GB News progs have not really been developed for television either….

Another issue I've noticed is the timings. The news bulletin didn't start until 13.02, so you had Rosie Wright doing a time check at the start "It's just after 1 o'clock"

They really need to start the preview for the next show at x59.30 ready to start the bulletin at x00.

Why - it makes no difference and by the time the BBC have gone through their headline sequence it's about twenty past anyway.
