Ratings for Farage's Trump interview is in, which is GBN's record-breaker. Yesterday morning, I did suspect Sky and BBC's ratings would crash at this moment - and now it is confirmed.

I find it interesting on Twitter (where else?) when GBN fans say “It’s outperforming all other news channels in the ratings” yet don’t provide any figures or sources. When they do provide figures it’s averages for off-peak slots (where no news channel does well). Yet it’s always portrayed as GBN vs The Six o’clock News or whatever. And if anyone argues or fact-checks these claims, they’re shot down. It’s so sad to see broadcast media lumped in with tabloids as ‘MSM” and accused of being biased, woke or lefty.

We all know Twitter is a cess pit regardless of your actual views, there are always people on there saying stupid things. Media in general likes to place a lot on Twitter comments as if it is a wide held view. GB news may do this even more but I haven’t paid much attention.

To fair the majority of reports that include averages are for the 6-11pm slots, where GB News appears to be performing well, especially against Sky News.
