GB News - Newshound47 - 29-11-2021 I fell like this publicity round has been designed so that people see it after people tweet and comment about the publicity. GB News - derek500j - 29-11-2021 news727 post_id=55949 time= user_id=1412 Wrote:BREAKING: Viewership scorecard is out. Here's how things stand. Hard to compare when different slot lengths are used. If Dan Wootton can average 54,200 over two hours, I expect he has more viewers than Farage. In his last week with a three hour slot, Wootton's highest was 33,100. Has his audience suddenly nearly doubled? Unlikely, it's the longer slot that brings the average down. GB News - news727 - 30-11-2021 To further add to the advertising campaign, I didn't realize I received an email from them, the first in 3 months and a week. It was sent around 12:35pm yesterday. Here's what was written. Quote:Dear [viewers], GB News - Aaron.TV - 30-11-2021 Are people still watching/following GB News to deliberately get themselves upset? Frankly, I don’t know how you all have the energy! GB News - news727 - 30-11-2021 valley post_id=56028 time= user_id=971 Wrote:Did they provide a source for those claims? No. You have to dig it yourself. And it's here so you don't have to. Quote:According to Michael Moszynski, chief executive officer of London Advertising, this is the first advertising campaign for a national broadcaster that targets consumers outside London – where GB News clearly sees its core audience. The agency commissioned research by Yonder, which surveyed over 2,000 people and found 66% of respondents agreed that television news was dominated by the London media bubble. It's not mentioned but the two other percentages were obviously also derived from this survey. GB News - valley - 30-11-2021 news727 post_id=56040 time= user_id=1412 Wrote:Thanks. Would be interesting to see the full data.valley post_id=56028 time= user_id=971 Wrote:Did they provide a source for those claims? GB News - Scrotnig - 30-11-2021 I must confess I'm not a fan of that 'new' logo....it feels a bit cobbled together. It's as if someone said "hang on, our logo doesn't actually mention the channel name". I can see why that would be an issue but the result doesn't look quite right, to me. Hardly the biggest issue in the world but hey, this is a TV presentation forum, I'm terribly geeky, and the two combined means I'm entitled to get myself worked up about these things!
GB News - RR - 30-11-2021 Assuming it is a proper poll, "The 64% who say traditional television news is too one-sided and stifles debate" will include those who think it is biased to the right and the left, so not really a relevant stat. The second point doesn't mention TV News - it is a general question. GB News - Keith - 30-11-2021 news727 post_id=56040 time= user_id=1412 Wrote:The final line of that article amused me...valley post_id=56028 time= user_id=971 Wrote:Did they provide a source for those claims? Quote:Campaign approached the BBC for comment. A spokesperson said: “We'll leave them to do their own PR.” Does GB News still have/use their regional reporters these days? It would be interesting to know the demographic of the 'over 2000 people' surveyed, assuming the survey asked for that information (e.g. age range, part of the country they live in, gender). GB News - derek500j - 30-11-2021 James2001 post_id=55942 time= user_id=956 Wrote:A long way outside of London. I've got a hunch you're in the East Midlands! GB News - TMD_24 - 30-11-2021 Farage has Donald Trump on tomorrow's show. Not sure how much it'll get a boost in the ratings but sure will give it a bit of publicity. GB News - James2001 - 30-11-2021 So he'll be spreading conspiracies about the US election now. |
