GB News - valley - 23-11-2021 London Lite post_id=54867 time= user_id=953 Wrote:I wish they'd spent a bit more money on production rather than talent, for a start those cameras are clearly not the right ones for their basement studio as they struggle against the lack of natural light. Compare the PQ of an OB on the breakfast show to the noise on the cameras which has been made worse since breakfast moved to the "hotel reception" set compared to the soft area previously used.100%. I understand that picture quality is not exactly the biggest deal compared to talent but the image quality really isn't ideal. I'm not sure which exact Panasonic PTZ models they have, but I have a fair bit of experience with their model range and they look great when properly configured and with decent lighting. PTZs as a whole need a fair bit more light than conventional studio cameras in my experience, so whilst they work great for well-lit studios, down-the-line positions etc. they work far less well in the dimly lit basement at The Point... Indeed GB News - JayCasey - 24-11-2021 I think that signing Stephen Dixon might be more to do with job security rather than anything else. Consider that GB News are offering contracts with terms, whereas, at last reckoning he was on a freelance (as are numerous others) contracts at Sky. I for one, would go for a stable financial income over the instability of a freelance deal! I mean, his Twitter bio does contains GBN (as first-appearance pundit hours ago, maybe recurring soon?), so... first step. GB News - Scrotnig - 24-11-2021 I’m really looking forward to Stephen Dixon joining the channel. Another of my favourite (ex) Sky News presenters. Alongside Paula/Polly Middlehurst and Colin Brazier. Elsewhere, this new Headliners show has grown on me a bit, wasn’t keen at first but it has merit. Turns out such a move was made because he requested so. https://twitter.com/danwootton/status/1462933116323090436?s=19 GB News - JK08 - 24-11-2021 news727 post_id=54971 time= user_id=1412 Wrote:onetrickypony post_id=52344 time= user_id=944 Wrote:Tonight Live becomes Dan Wootton Tonight from tomorrow and will air for 2 hours. The guide lists 'Headliners' at 11pm. Respectfully, Dan Wootton strikes me as such an egomaniac that I can believe he'd insist it was his decision regardless of whether it was or not. GB News - Jon - 24-11-2021 Sally Morgan has basically just told Dan Wootton he and Farage be moving on from GB News in the new year, due to events that happened in September. I believe talkTV was announced in September. Whilst I’m not suggesting she can or can’t genuinely predict the future, it’s possible it’s been mentioned to her. If Dan is off to talkTV he might know he’s got a 2 hour slot there, hence him trying to perfect the format over that time slot. As for Sally Morgan - says a lot when a much criticised so called psychic is probably the most informed expert they've had on the channel. |
