Where logos have officially changed, then only the new logo should be shown. Otherwise it makes the whole thing look pointless. If logos have yet to change, fair enough.

Would certainly help. We had Birdwatchers in the East Midlands for the One, and the BBC logo disappeared into the clouds

The split logo makes it's placement awkward too - nowhere on screen it could be put discretly really.

The blip feels like the kind of pres element that will be dropped within a few months.
All there is really is a modified logo with some stretchy boxes, which if I'm honest feels over done when you see it half a dozen times in every junction.
Not sure why the blocks leave just the iPlayer logo on screen at the end of the trail, I thought the blocks were supposed to be front and centre now.
There feels like no other innovative pres elements here, lots of stretchy boxes - everywhere - except where there is an old logo.

My girlfriend lives in a village with a medium sized COOP shop. The shop has been there for many years, but is regularly updated and well kept. The shop still has the 2007 Cooperative Food Signage, despite the current logo being (re)introduced 5 years ago. To compare a Television Service to a shop isn't necessarily the best example. However, it does show that these things are never quite as well executed as we like.
The new trailer endboards and new graphics that we have seen look absolutely beautiful. Can't fault them, can't fault the concept. The execution (when it works) is excellent. And with it being a Wednesday, the kinks are still going to be worked out. We have two days of a whole working week to make some initial fixes, and the benefit of knowing that this is only a phased introduction. And that's for the best, in my opinion.
I am not going to be disappointed or angry, because we've all had those awkward growth spurt years when our bodies change, our voices deepen, and parts of us grow when we least expect (LEGS, PEOPLE. DON'T BE CRUDE). It's all to come.

100% agree, probably looked OK on a laptop when it was put on but on a TV it’s just too big.
It detracts from the split logo as well having something that large competing with the channel name in a different area of the screen.
Hopefully this will be tweaked over the coming weeks.
